I am a PhD Candidate in Philosophy at The Graduate Center, The City University of New York (CUNY). I did my undergraduate studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where I was also a fellow of the Affiliate Students Program at the Institute for Philosophy Research.
My work lies at the intersection of Philosophy of Science and Social Philosophy. It is also heavily influenced by Feminist and Decolonial Philosophy. Thematically, I am interested in human classifications, taxonomic practices, and their effect on subjectivity. You can read more about my philosophical interests in 'Research'.
I believe in a philosophy that is plural, situated, and enriched by diversity. For these reasons, I like to be involved in activities that keep me connected to society. You can read more about my community involvement in 'Community' and 'Teaching'.
